The Dessert Goddess Story

- I live in Tijeras, New Mexico and have been making soap for 11 years. My
business began as a hobby after spending some time studying herbology and
making soap seemed a perfect fit. After my first child was born I decided
to stay at home which fueled my ambition of starting a company that
encompassed my passion: soapmaking.
- I began on a mission to create a soap that would fit into our dry
southwestern climate, be free of all the skin irritating detergents
and synthetics in commercial soap, provide long-lasting moisturizing
properties, eye-opening refreshing aromatherapy scents and rich explosive
lather.
- Living in the Southwest comes with breathtaking beauty and wonderful
seasons but it also has a climate that is not so great on our skin. Dry
heat and little moisture, our skin becomes dry and itchy. Commercial soap
is packed with chemicals, detergents and synthetics. They strip the skin
of its natural moisture, leaving it irritated and essentially damaged.

- My goals are to inform people about the benefits of handcrafted soap,
help to alleviate skin problems with gentle cleansing and long-lasting
intense moisture with a high quality, 100% natural product.
